This soap smells like a Minnesota spring. This vegan artisan soap is made with shea and cocoa butter as well as skin loving oils and is scented with the floral aroma of lilacs in bloom.

☙ About: Handmade in very small batches in Minnesota, my plant-based artisan soaps are made using the cold process method of soap-making. Cold process soap means the oils are mixed with sodium hydroxide, otherwise known as lye, which causes a chemical reaction called saponification turning the oils to soap. Once the oils are saponifed, the lye is neutralized and no sodium hydroxide remains. The bars of soap are cut after 48 hours. After six weeks of curing they are very gentle and ready for use. All Iris Elm Soaps are made with plant based oils and butters.
