Iris Elm Jewelry Newest Additions: July 2 - 8

A couple new additions were added to the shop this past week:

Rhodochrosite, a gorgeous gem know for is stunning pink color. It is normally found in cave stalactites and stalagmites.

I found these beads locally and fell instantly in love with their beauty.

I love making brick-stitched diamond shaped earrings and have always used Delica seed beads. Then I thought, why not go larger?  I made these using 4mm cube glass beads with glass seed beads at the base as well as a loop at the top for the handcrafted 14k gold-filled ear wires.

Hearts & Arrows

On this sweltering July day, I am finishing up this hearts and arrows woven seed bead bracelet while listening to the audiobook version of one of my favorite classics 'Persuasion' by Jane Austen. (I'm half way through chapter 19.)

Iris Elm Jewelry Newest Additions: June 25 - 30

Hello! Here is the latest jewelry added for the last week of June:

Beaded with black, dark smoky grey, silver and light blue glass seed beads, these statement boho earrings are eye-catching and unique. These are the latest version of one my favorite pairs I've made, the earth-toned Bronze & Blue Bohemian Seed Bead Earrings.

I love most of the shows that are on PBS Masterpiece, particularly dramas set in the early 20th century such as Downton Abbey and Miss Fisher's Murder Mysteries. And I admit that half the time I am distracted by the costumes and of course the jewelry and find myself missing plot points because of the ideas I then have for jewelry designs based on that era.

These amethyst and quartz crystal earrings, added to my shop a few days ago, were inspired from vintage style jewelry. They are elegant and dangle from handcrafted sterling silver ear wires.

Handwoven with glowing amber and deep red garnet gemstones, these autumnal hued gemstones make a beautiful color combination. These pretty earrings are a re-addition to my shop and are perfect for anyone who loves original jewelry.
