ABOUT: Handmade in Minnesota, my plant-based artisan soaps are made from scratch in small batches using the cold process method of soap-making. The soap then cures for at least four to six weeks before it is ready for use.
PLEASE NOTE: As with all new products that you are going to begin using on your skin, always try a small area first to see if any allergic reactions or breakouts occur. If you have any problems or irritation, discontinue use immediately.
If you have allergies, please read ingredient list carefully before purchasing.
CARING FOR YOUR SOAP: Handmade soap will last longer if kept dry between uses and away from direct streams of water as well as kept on a draining soap dish.
Because this is a handmade soap, please allow for slight variations in color and design.
This listing is for ONE bar of soap only.
☙ About: Handmade in very small batches in Minnesota, my plant-based artisan soaps are made using the cold process method of soap-making. Cold process soap means the oils are mixed with sodium hydroxide, otherwise known as lye, which causes a chemical reaction called saponification turning the oils to soap. Once the oils are saponifed, the lye is neutralized and no sodium hydroxide remains. The bars of soap are cut after 48 hours. After six weeks of curing they are very gentle and ready for use. All Iris Elm Soaps are made with plant based oils and butters.
